ACLAIIR ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND SEMINAR

London, Wednesday 25 June 2008

The 2008 AGM will be held at the Institute for the Study of the Americas, University of London on Wednesday, 25^th June 2008. The AGM will be followed by a workshop on ‘Researching contemporary history as it happens: the case of Hugo Chávez', with speakers Julia Buxton, Hazel Marsh and Richard Gott and a showing of Chris Moore's film ¿Puedo hablar? FSLG AGM and WESLINE 08 Conference.

The 2008 conference-organised in conjunction with ACLAIIR, organised in conjunction with ACLAIIR, the German Studies Library Group and the Italian Studies Library Group under the WESLINE banner-will be held on Monday 1 September to Tuesday 2 September 2008 at the British Library in London. The conference will have a focus on social studies in Western Europe with, we hope, a plenary session on research trends with resource implications thereof and a mixture of academic and library-based case studies and projects. Further details will appear in due course on the WESLINE website and on the FSLG and WESLINE mailing lists.!

The FSLG (French Studies Library Group) AGM will take place as part of the conference and will most likely be held jointly with the GSLG (German Studies Library Group) AGM.

WESLINE 09 Conference

The WESLINE 09 Conference will take place in Durham on 2-5 September 2009.
